Happy Pride Month, KYA Posse!

In this episode, Bre and Way explore modern gaming landscape. They revisit classic remakes like “Silent Hill 2” and discuss movie adaptations of video games as well as highlighting some prominent Black YouTubers. Additionally, they shine a light on Marlon Riggs, an influential LGBTQ+ activist and documentary filmmaker who thoughtfully examines Black identity and sexuality in America.

Bre and Way also dive into the Adult Swim show “OMG Yes” and explore the concept of Black animation essentialism, emphasizing that Black cartoons are not monolithic.
